Special Dedication week



                                              Special Dedication week

The special dedication week was the creative idea which was planned by ministry of education under guidance and advice of minister. As suggested by ministry, we have planned and successfully implemented the special dedication week, to pay tribute our epitome, role model and gracious king Jigme Singye Wangchuck.

For the first day that was on Monday (26th October, 2015) we had opening ceremony where we had Mangmi as chief guest, there was speech from our dzongkha Lopen, then followed by chief guest and students too. The main events of the day was hoisting of 100 plus lung tang and inauguration ceremony. Long life prayer and patriotic songs were performed to pay our sincere gratitude to our drinchen gi Pham, the then everyone’s idol King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The program ended with lunch and refreshment for chief guest and other participants of the day.

The next day program was conducted with guest speaker; school administration is pleased to have one of the health assistants of the gewog to have talk on heath and development under the benevolence leadership of our kings. The students were briefed and oriented how our health systems has improved year by years and most importantly health assistant informed that our medicine, treatment and everything is free, it is all because of our farsighted leaders visionary and wisdom. For we have to always be thankful and indebted for our kings. Towards evening we had articles and write up by teachers and students exhibition and festivals, children, teachers and other staff of the geog walked around and had reading.






For the third day, that was on Wednesday (28/10/15).we are very pleased to have another energetic and knowledgeable staff, who is not other than gewog Agriculture Extension officer, who high lights on developments brought by our kings in regards to farming and economy of the country. He has also informed about our country’s self-sufficiency and self-reliant because of farming and products.

On Thursday, one of the teachers spoke about modern education and education of the past; children were oriented towards types and form of education in the past and made comparison with education today. Children are informed that our education is free and we have to make best use of free education. Children were given comparison with other country education, where in other country students have to pay for books, textbooks, teaching fee, hostel fee and many more, but in our country we get everything free of course because of our king’s great vision and well planned programs.so children are asked to study properly and pay back to our country and that will be more than enough for our kings. Then in the evening, we had golden words of our fourth king exhibition in and around school vicinity. Children are reminded and focused about golden words of king and how it is important to know words of wisdom of our kings.

During the second last day of special dedication week celebrations, one of the teachers spoke about our country’s security, serenity and sovereignty under the guidance of our judicious kings. He has informed the floor that His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck has lead as commander and fought with those terrorist in the interest of our country. Our country stands between two giant countries and still we enjoy peace, prosperity and tranquility independently, it is all because of our great kings noble services.at the end of the day, what we enjoy ,and stays in peaceful country is all because of our kings.

The special dedication week ended with closing ceremony joined by geog civil servants. We are lucky to have geog administrative officers as chief guest. The program started with anthem, lifelong prayer and speeches. Chief Guest thanked school for conducting wonderful dedication week in school and he said it was kind and good imitative from ministry of education to dedicate the celebration to everyone’s idol and favorite our only fourth king. One of the teachers review what school has been doing till date to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of our king. He has mentioned, all we need to do is be wonderful and real human being and it will be great tribute. We should not engage our self in corruption and it will be great crime. If we are to pay tribute be good human being and serve the nation in our own possible ways, it will be great tribute.
The program ended with teachers, guest and students singing patriotic songs dedicated to our fourth king. We are lucky to born in Bhutan, the then place of utopia, where everyone enjoy the peace and tranquility under the leadership of our gracious king. Long live our kings.
